Nobel Prize in Literature (1901-2006)

Alfred Nobel was a Swedish scientist who wanted to improve the world. His will left approximately ninety-four percent of his worth to fund the Nobel Prize, which is annually awarded in six different categories, literature being one of them. The Prize is given to an individual for their valuable contributions to society.
