Michael L. Printz Award (2000-2007)
This Award is named
for Michael L. Printz, a former school librarian at Topeka West High School
in Kansas, who passed away in 1996. He was well-known as an excellent colleague
and teacher. The Michael L. Printz Award is given to recognize a book that exemplifies
literary excellence in young adult literature.
