Book Club in a Bag Program Brought to you by participating libraries in the Mid-Hudson Library System

Borrower Responsibilities

• Any patron of a MHLS member library may borrow a bag.
• The bag will be checked out on the library card of the person picking up the bag. That patron is completely responsible for the bag and all of its contents.
  • You will be personally billed if the bag is not returned.
  • You will be personally billed if any books are missing from the bag when it is returned.
• The loan period is 6 weeks. Kits cannot be renewed.
• No more than 2 kits can be checked out to your library card at one time.
• Check contents before returning the kit. The replacement cost of an entire kit is $170.00. The replacement costs of individual parts of the kit will depend on the cost of each particular item.
• Please note that you may not keep a bag beyond its due date, if you do, you will be billed for the entire bag.
• Please do not use the book drop to return the bag, you must bring it into the library. The kit must be returned to the same library where you picked it up.
