Adriance A variety of materials including approximately 900 linear feet of cataloged materials (books, pamphlets, manuscripts, scrapbooks, yearbooks, local government records); 33 linear feet of clippings and information files; 30 linear feet of records of the library; 20 linear feet of framed art (maps, prints, photos); 700+ historic maps and blueprints; bound newspaper volumes; 150 linear feet of unappraised / unprocessed / uncataloged materials; and a varied and significant historical image collection containing 2000 photographs, 34 proof books from a local photography stodio; stereoscopic plates, glass plate negatives, and several photo albums interspersed throughout the collection.

Amenia Local History of Amenia, Wassaic and Sharon, Ct: History of Amenia written by local people about the people and churches of Wassaic and Amenia, dating back to the 1700. People from all over the country come every summer searching for their roots. We have Dutchess County books as well. Blodgett (Fishkill) The Local History Collection contains books, maps, photos, vertical file(newspaper clippings, letters, phamphlets), CD ROMs, journals and newspapers. Materials relate primarily to south-western Dutchess County - the area included in the original Rombout Patent - but include many general Dutchess and Putnam County soruces. We have back issues of the Southern Dutchess News from 1983 on, and the Fishkill Journal (1860-65) and the Fishkill Weekly Times (1882-1918) on microfilm. We have complete collections of "The Yearbook of the Dutchess County Historical Society" and "The Dutchess, published by the Dutchess County Historical Society." We have a collection of published and unpublished genealogies of local families. The Local History Room also contains the Rapalje/Cotheal Collection, which consists of 3 linear feet of diaries (1857-1901), journals (1820's-1840's), and letterbooks (1790-1875) of 2 prominent Fishkill families. Starr (Rhinebeck) Description of materials: Local history and genealogy materials for Rhinebeck and vicinity, Dutchess County and the Hudson Valley. We also hold the Chancellor Livingston D.A.R. collection of books and materials, and provide space for the archives of the Rhinebeck Historical Society. The Starr Library has a complete run of the Gazette-Advertiser Newspaper from 1846 on microfilm. Additional local history information may be obtained from the Consortium of Rhinebeck History: www.rhinebeckhistory.org .

Stanford Town of Stanford history: Our library has two booklets on the Town of Stanford history. We also sell copies of the booklets for the local Historical Society. Almost all local history documents are housed at the Town Hall with the town historian or at the postoffice under the supervision of the Stanford Historical Society. Both 2 None are linked

Tivoli Hudson River Valley & local history: A large portion of the collection & materials will be housed in the Tivoli Bay Visitors Center beginning in January 2003. Materials which could be used for school groups, i.e. videos & teacher workbooks, nature guides etc. & other materials will be cataloged and available for loan through the ILL process.

Kent We have about 250 linear inches of books and about 10 small boxes of paper and pamphlet materials. The books focus on genealogy of Putnam County and New England, as well as the history of Putnam County and the surrounding area. We also have quite a few books of New York State history (gazetteers, etc.). We collect any local information (publications, guides, etc.) that we think may be of interest and have just started a clippings and obituary file. We have just received a donation of hundreds of genealogy books, which we have yet to process and catalog. We will be adding these to our collection in our new building. We also have a subscription, with Putnam County libraries, to Heritage Quest, which is availabe in-house and remotely (to Putnam county patrons). In library only 300+ 1/2 are linked . .
