Columbia County
- The Independent - an online form can be found under Our Newspaper; Contact Us. To submit a Letter to the Editor you must choose the category, Send a letter to the Editor.
- The Register Star - an online form can be found under Customer Service; Letter to the Editor.

Dutchess County
- The Poughkeepsie Journal -an online form can be found on the website under contact us; Letter to the editor.
- The Daily Freeman - Letters may be mailed to Daily Freeman, 79 Hurley Ave., Kingston, N.Y. 12401, or e-mailed to letters@freemanonline.com.
Include your name, hometown and a daytime phone number for verification. "Letters should be fewer than 400 words. Letters are subject to editing for clarity, brevity and taste. During election campaigns, letters from candidates for office will not be published. Given the volume of our mail, we are unable to publish all letters we receive. If selected, a letter generally will be published between 7 and 10 days after arrival."
