Supported Portable Listening Devices

  • NetLibrary's Audiobooks can be listened to on a computer as well as a wide range of portable devices, including Portable music players, Portable media centers, Pocket PCs, Select smartphone devices.
  • In order to be considered a device that works with NetLibrary Audiobooks, the only requirement is that the device must be able to support playback of secure or protected wma files.

Tips on Selecting a Portable Listening Device

  • Make sure the device supports the playback of:
    • of at least 32 kpbs files
    • secure or protected wma files
  • To have an optimal experience when listening to a NetLibrary Audiobook, it is recommended that you select devices that support:
    • bookmarking
    • full time stamping
  • A storage capacity of 256 MB at a minimum are recommended since the average CD quality Audiobook file size is 140 MB.
