This process eliminates libraries being paged for rotating collection items that they have returned to MHLS.
On the day that the driver is going to pick up the collection:
- Print the page slip
- Fill any pages for the items in your rotating collection box
- Now you will be changing the status of all the items in that collection, through MicCirc:
- In MilCirc, on the left-hand navigation bar, click on Course Reserves.
- On the drop-down index menu, change index to COURSE.
- Type in the number of the type and number of the collection (Example: lp42). This brings up the Course List of everything in the collection.
- Click All, to check and select all items.
- Click the Change Status button. Under Item Status, click Inactive (until end of course). Click OK. This should have changed all locations in the course reserve to mhla or mhlj. If you see some that didn't change, right click to view and edit the item record and make it mhla or mhlj (depending on if it is adult or juvenile).
- Pages for these items will go to MHLS.
