• Questar III - ESL/ESOL Classes

  Provides contact information for classes, descriptions of the various levels of study, and a listing of where classes are offered.

• Literacy Volunteers of America - Dutchess County
  A national, not-for-profit educational organization which delivers tutoring services one-to-one or in small groups, at no charge to the student. LVA's mission is to reach adults whose literacy skills are very limited or non-existent and to provide volunteer tutors who can teach reading, writing and English speaking skills.

Putnam County

  A non-profit agency which offers one-to-one tutoring in Basic Literacy to (primarily) adults reading at or below the fifth grade level; and tutoring and English conversation classes to adult ESOL (English for speakers of other languages) students. Program for Putnam County operates out of the Mahopac Library.
