To attend this session you must also attend the Fostering LGBTQ+ Inclusive Libraries session on September 12. 

SafeZone Training is a workshop dedicated to enhancing the knowledge of the LGBTQ+ community and looking at creating inclusive spaces of active allyship from an intersectional lens. Participants will leave the training with a manual full of resources, an official SafeZone Initiative SafeZone sticker, and an abundance of knowledge to further understand the experience of people in the LGBTQ+ Community.

This training is for certification for an individual. For a library to be considered fully SafeZone trained the entire staff in the organization must attend certification training.

Seating is limited.
