NYLA Conference Registration is Open

Registration is open for the New York Library Association (NYLA) Annual Conference. The conference will take place from Wednesday, November 6th through Saturday, November 9th at the Oncenter in Syracuse.
This year’s theme, “Leadership at Every Level” is focused on recognizing that all library workers are leaders.
Mid-Hudson Library System staff and its members will be sharing their knowledge and experience throughout the conference:

• Dover Plains Library Director Amy Smith will present Dinosaur Pizza: Learning Librarianship from Kids.

• Millbrook Library Director, Courtney Tsahalis will present Turning the Page: ADHD and Employee Policies.

• MHLS Executive Director, Rebekkah Smith Aldrich, will join two panels of presenters during the conference: Empowered Libraries Tackle Climate Change Together! and Trustee Handbook Book Club for Directors

• MHLS Outreach and EDI Specialist, Kerstin Cruger joins a panel of presenters to discuss Path to Belonging: Rural Libraries EDISJ.
