It gathers information about your library’s programs, services, partnerships, and facilities that are geared towards meeting needs and fostering resilient communities. Your participation will help make the results powerful and actionable for your library and libraries across the country.
One person should complete the survey on behalf of their library. To access the survey, log into your library’s free Benchmark account and navigate to the “Surveys” page. If you have questions or need assistance, please email plabenchmark@ala.org.
Survey participants will be entered into a drawing to win either one of seven $100 gift cards for Bookshop.org or a free PLA 2026 conference registration with travel stipend for a library staff member. PLA will announce the winning libraries in January 2026. Survey participants are also immediately eligible for a discounted subscription for upgraded access to the Benchmark data dashboards.
