Vaccinations for Library Workers

Beginning Wednesday, March 17th, library workers in association and public libraries are eligible for COVID-19 vaccination in New York State. Library workers are advised to bring a paystub and letter from their employer along with valid ID to their appointments. A sample employer letter has been provided to all directors via the MHLS-Notice List.

New Procedures – Items with Missing Parts

At the DA meeting in February member library directors voted to approve new procedures for checking in items with missing parts. This change was recommended by the Resource Sharing Advisory Committee after fielding many concerns about the procedures we were previously following. The new procedure was developed and has been tested by the committee members.
