About 13% (42 million) of the American population is made up of adolescents. Teens aren’t tall toddlers or tiny adults, and brain development and environmental factors play a large role in teen needs and behavior. Join Connecticut Children/YA Consultant Kym Powe, to learn about teen brain development and how it impacts teen connection to public libraries. Learn how we, as library workers, move forward working with teens as we program, offer services, and enforce library rules.
