Libby, your favorite eBook, and audiobook app just got even better! Libby now features push notifications to keep you up to date on your ebook loans and holds and hold redelivery so you never miss a book again. Push notifications will let you know when a loan is nearing its due date or automatically returned at the end of its loan period, when a hold is available to borrow, nearing the end of its checkout window or not checked out in time and no longer available to borrow, as well as when new tutorials on using Libby are available.  To enable push notifications, you can select Manage Notifications from within the Libby menu.  If you are using a device that does not support push notifications, or you wish to disable push notifications, you can still receive notifications via email or through the Libby menu. Hold redelivery will keep your place in line on the wait list for a title and get titles to other library users waiting for it sooner. Holds redelivery will begin in March and you’ll see an option for “deliver later” wherever you get notifications about Libby eBooks and audiobooks. Choosing this option will pass this title to the next person waiting, and you’ll have access to the next copy that becomes available. For more information about eBooks or any of these features, contact us at the library for help.
