Following requests at the last Director Briefing, MHLS has scheduled a Directors Coffee Hour: Reopening the Library on August 4th at 10:00am to provide library directors with a space to discuss issues around reopening. During the Coffee Hour library directors will have the opportunity to talk about practical problems that arise in managing a facility and keeping staff and patrons safe while providing library services. This event is intended for library directors to gather and talk frankly and informally about the experiences they’ve had, challenges they’ve faced, and the solutions they’ve found to reopening their library buildings.
