The American Library Association (ALA) Library Instruction Round Table (LIRT) is accepting submissions for two awards created to recognize excellence in information literacy and instruction. The LIRT Librarian Recognition Award honors a practicing librarian for their contributions to information literacy and instruction. Winners will receive a $1,000 award, a plaque, and $500 to be used to attend the ALA Annual Conference.
Submissions will be accepted until January 15th, 2022. Please see the LIRT Awards website for more details on how to apply or nominate someone for these awards.
