2022 Digital Inclusion Toolkit

Lauren T. Moore, Assistant Commissioner for Libraries and State Librarian, recently announced that the New York State Library has released the 2022 Digital Inclusion Toolkit. This new resource is aimed at empowering libraries and other community organizations as they move forward together with digital inclusion and digital equity work. The online toolkit, developed by the New York State Library in partnership with the National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) is funded by the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

The State Library and NDIA will be hosting a free webinar on November 17th from 10:30 am to noon to introduce this new resource to the library community. Webinar participants will learn how to utilize the toolkit to expand their library’s digital inclusion programming and planning, as well as gain an understanding of the larger digital inclusion ecosystem, and how libraries play a role in national change.
