Library Advocacy Day is this week! Dozens of library supporters from our region will travel to Albany to speak with legislators about state library aid and the State Aid for Library Construction program. We know that not everyone can join us in person so find out how you can help from your home or office in this week’s MHLS Bulletin!
Thank you to all member libraries for completing the Annual Report!
The Mid-Hudson Library System (MHLS) will be reviewing all of your reports over the next week for errors that might trigger alerts at the State level, and reaching out to library directors to make any necessary updates. Your timely response to these updates is much appreciated, and helps MHLS move the reports to the state and secure the funding tied to this reporting more quickly.

Help us tell the story of what a good investment libraries are, leading up to Advocacy Day on February 27th. Investing in libraries has a big return on investment for the communities they serve. Real People. Real Dollars. tells that story in pictures by working with a patron or a family of patrons to calculate how much they save annually by using the library. If you would like to participate in this campaign there is still time! Learn more at:
